The Carnival of Quebec
Mei-Huei says that she wants to go to the Carnival of Quebec. Sarah tell her she already went to the Carnival and she thought that the Bonhomme was beautiful with his colourful belt.
She is also talking about the Château Frontenac, because we can see it very well during the Carnaval. During a guide tour, she learned that the castle has now 125 years olds and received through all those years numerous celebrities.
“During the Carnival of Quebec, there is even a big ice castle!” says Sarah.
“I am so excited to see an ice castle! Do you know that there is even snow in Taiwan?”
魁北克嘉年華
美慧說，因為她很想參加魁北克的嘉年華，所以能見到來自魁北克的莎拉真的很開心。莎拉告訴美慧，小時候，她和父母一起去過嘉年華。她覺得繫著彩色皮帶的狂歡節人偶非常漂亮，即使對一個小孩而言它真的很大。她記得在嘉年華遊行時，她一直都能看見人偶的身影。
莎拉也提到了，在面向河流的崖上，有座芳堤娜城堡，在嘉年華進行時，人們可以很清楚地看見這座城堡。在一次導覽中，她知曉了這座城堡已經有125年的歷史，也得知在這些年，它曾被許多名人接管，例如：英國女皇伊麗莎白二世和李奧納多迪卡皮歐。
「在魁北克嘉年華中，甚至會有一座大冰堡！」莎拉說。
「我等不及去看那座大冰堡了！妳知道台灣甚至不會下雪嗎？」美慧回答。
Le Carnaval de Québec
Mei-Huei lui dit qu’elle veut aller au Carnaval de Québec. Sarah lui raconte qu’elle est déjà allée au Carnaval et qu’elle a trouvé le Bonhomme Carnaval très beau avec sa ceinture colorée.
Elle lui parle aussi du Château Frontenac puisque qu’on peut très bien le voir durant le carnaval. Pendant un tour guidé, elle a appris que le château a maintenant 125 ans et qu’il a déjà accueilli des célébrités.
« Pendant le Carnaval de Québec, il y a aussi un gros château de glace! », dit Sarah.
« Je suis tellement excitée de voir un château de glace! », dit Mei Huei. « Est-ce que tu sais que même à Taiwan, il y a de la neige? »
